My wallet and paycheck
Today was pretty uneventful.
I was able to ride my bike for the first time since Sunday which was nice. For whatever reason my back started to hurt a lot during my ride which sucked, but still the ride was nice.
I went during what I know see as the small window of good weather we had today. It was about sixty eight degrees and sunny. I almost made a fantastic playlist of Modest Mouse to which I rode.
Writing that sentence reminded me of something though. On my way to the football game last night (I have and ASB sticker so I got in for free) I went to plug in my iPod into my car and noticed the cord was stuck under my emergency brake. I have absolutely no idea how the cord got stuck in the thin crevase that exists there. I seriously would not move. At all. I started to pull it. It felt like it was starting to move too. Sadly though it wasn’t, it was streching. Unaware of this I pulled on.
Guess what happened next.
My cord broke. I am pissed. I hate the radio. ALOT. The radio sucks. They hardly ever play good music on it ever. I will plug my iPod into my car everytime. Even if the drive isn’t long enough to finish a song.
I love my iPod. I have way to much music on it (seriously I haven’t heard about a third of them.) The fact that I can’t listen to it is killing me already and it has only been twenty four hours. Not only that but I have only drivin about eight miles today with out it and it blows.
I can almost garuntee you I can not make it the rest of the month without that cord. I also have no blank CDs i could burn either. Nor do I have regular CDs because lets face it that era died years ago.
I am going to see if my friend who works at Best Buy will let me buy it on credit. That way I wont be spending it this month. It’s a little shady I know but I need my music.
Wish me luck.
